I am back ( imagine me coming dressed up all black with hardcore background music)

Hello Mis Amigos,
      Our team wondered if it would be a good idea to introduce ourselves as we are the editors of this blog and I didn't give it a second thought . 
Our panel includes :-
Riley Tennyson i.e me  :I am the founder of this blog and also am the chief editor,the ideas and contests are all from my head so I am hoping all you bibliomaniacs enjoy it because then it will be proved that I have a brain which most people are unsure of.
Elsie Aulis: She is the author of the book 'Amber daze'. She started writing at the age of 8 and is growing ever since.Her story,'G.R.O.S.S' got published in a magazine. She will be the judge of all the contests held in 'Broken Compass'. She apart from being a judge e will share some of her stories and you are most likely to hear it here if she gets another book out .
Srishti Verma: She is the publisher. She receives all the e-mails that you will send and have sent in till now .She forwards all the really good articles to all the other members of the team after she has seen them herself. She , though lives really far away from Canada, is also a member of our team.Her hobbies are shared with mine.
Max Alvord: His work is kept highly confidential. He is the kind of mysterious guy you might want to share your secrets with but not hang around. He is my best friend and prefers to keep a low profile.We don't know what he likes but is a very important member of our team.


So here were the members of our team . Just so you know, if you have read this post, great job! because it was actually unnecessary 

Attention dear fellow readers, 
     Mother's day is coming soon so our team decided that we will keep a contest !
In this contest our bibliomaniacs (that is you!) ( also bibliomaniac is a term we will be using for you readers) are invited to participate and submit your poems  , articles, stories , jokes or any other thing that will help us celebrate mother's day on the 12th of May in 'Broken Compass'
Thank you for your attention but you might need to divert it somewhere else because we will be expecting some exciting articles from you . 

Welcome back to my humble abode!
I received a lot of questions and one of them was that 'Why is the name of the blog 'BROKEN COMPASS'?'
The reason is that an author's mind is like a broken compass, while an ordinary compass shows the right direction , a broken compass wanders about . A writer's mind no matter how big or small tends to find the extraordinary within the ordinary, it tries to bring twist and turns to whatever it sees, it imagines the inconceivable, it dreams the unseen dreams, it scripts the untold stories on paper and does loads of other stuff which makes people like us (i.e the writer's or maybe readers) contradistinctive (or rather different ).So that's the reason I have named the blog 'Broken Compass'
Oh! I thing I may need to give that old broken compass for a repair, I'll write to you after I am done.
